A.M. Yes, I have second-guess my faith in writing a book because of my background of not being able to read as a young child and totally hating school. Writing a book brought on multiple challenges. But those challenges quickly were overcome by the three things that I call ‘The 3 D’s of life.’ They are Determination. Dedication. And Drive.
Build a wood frame that is 3′ on wood side and width of your door on the other. The 3′ side will be the depth of your potting table. (modify it as you desire depending on how much work area you desire for your planting creations). The side that matches the width of your door will be the area that you mount the frame to the door. Your frame will be made with the 2×4’s on their side, secured at the ends with 2 screws into each connection point.
Simply stop junk, fried, spicy and oily food. I cannot stress further the importance of simple, nutritious, healthy food. Our body is made out of food we eat. We grow from a baby of few inches to a full-grown adult only through food we eat. Food is the raw material used to build our building that we call body. How can you expect a strong building to be built if you use inferior raw material from junkyard?
As beginner’s luck would have it, we came upon a rattlesnake before we reached the tahoe rims. It was minding it’s own business, eating a mouse. Cindy saw it first. She started barking. The snake’s rattles made a weird noise, kind of like rustling leaves, but different. Robert stepped right up beside it and pushed his Y stick behind the snake’s head. It would have worked except the prongs were too long and the surprised viper quickly crawled around the stick and up toward Robert’s hand. Fortunately, its mouth was full. Robert dropped his Y stick, demanding mine. No objection was heard from his little brother. Having already, wet my pants, I was more than happy to give it over.
Finally, if there is market value attached with your vehicle, scraping the car might be a profitable option. If there are people who want to sell out their junk cars, you have the opportunity to buy them cheaper, and then re-sell to the scrap yard and make a profit out of it. This option is considered great to gain some additional cash for junk cars.
You note that I use the words “might” and “possibility” here. For an opportunity to exist, we should be able to combine four elements. Without all four, we have only a possibility, nothing more. However, as you get used to viewing the world from four different angles, you will very quickly start to think of all four elements automatically.
A.M. My advice for the up and coming and aspiring author is that if you have a dream of becoming an author – or even speaker, or motivator – don’t let your fears or anyone stop you from achieving your dreams. They ( your dreams) are there for the taking.
Scope out some car shows in your area or neighboring cities in order to meet other car lovers, and discover potential vehicle sales. There are a lot of informed people that may know of a good classic car being sold. Asking around lets others know what you are looking for so speak to people and get to know local car enthusiasts. A connection can always come in useful later.
Once you have the title in hand and the car is cleaned out, take it to the salvage yard. If it cannot drive, ask if they would be willing to tow it, or arrange for towing. When you arrive with the car, you will be offered a final sale price after the employees inspect it. Be prepared to negotiate, because this is expected. If you are happy with the price, accept it and sign the title over. You will then turn over the car and the keys and be on your way, no longer worrying about that old junker in your yard.
I would like to suggest, for the less experienced buyer to hire as a consultant the sharpest attorney or business broker you can find and pay him for his time to watch your rear end, in negotiations and in reviewing the companies you are considering buying. In real estate we call this a buyers agent, except with businesses the listing agent will not always co-operate in splitting the commission. This means you need to be willing to pay your agent an hourly fee for helping you. Let me give you a real example.
